IKZ – Institute for Kybernetik and Zukunftsforschung. Fred Stiller (Klaus Löwitsch) finds himself caught and trapped between the worlds, when his friend and colleague Professor Henry Vollmer (Adrian Hoven) suddenly dies, leaving behind nothing but inexplainable mysteries regarding his death and their shared computer model Simulacron One. His confusion increases as several people of his close environment start to disappear without any trace and Stiller seems to be the only one to notice or even remember them at all. Tormented by heavy nauseas and strange hallucinations he won’t give up to disclose the dangerously lurking secret behind the blurry curtains, called reality.
