When Anna (Isabelle Adjani) head over heels leaves her husband Mark (Sam Neill) and their little son, to live with another love affair, Mark drops everything to get her back. In complete hysteria and despair he follows her steps and her moves that eventually lead him to her esoteric lover Heinrich (Heinz Bennent). But even Heinrich doesn’t have any clue about his successor. Obviously Anna keeps her secret lover well hidden and protected. And those who would know about the mystery, won’t be able to reveal anything.
