After being suspended by his boss, due to irresponsible acting in an important case, Detective Yabuike (Kôji Yakusho) heads straight out of town, in order to breathe some peace and air. Getting lost in a blurry forest, he finds himself in the line of fire between an injured orphan tree called Charisma, its protecting caretaker, the forest mafia, who eagerly try to kidnap the bizarre protective and finally a scientist, convinced that the naughty plant is slowly poisoning the whole forest with its roots. And everybody is expecting his decision: Which side is he on?
