Thanks to a nerve robbing research of Mr. Pickledfeet:
To handle multiple images easily in one go, changing and finally saving all of them to your preferred format, use the magick “mogrify trick”:
Example:
mogrify -density 72 -quality 85 -resize x1000 -format jpg *.tif
Note: -format jpg [defines output] *.tif [defines input]
